Janine and Gentry's wedding took place at the Lakeview Inn in Wolfeboro, NH, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect! I began documenting their day with both getting ready separately, filled with anticipation. A special moment was Janine’s first look with her dad and brother, where they dug up a whiskey bottle buried on the property—a unique (and super tasty) tradition believed to bring good luck. This is one of my favorite parts about being a documentary wedding photographer! I just go with the flow and sometimes get a surprise thrown in!
As Gentry watched Janine walk down the aisle, all his nerves faded away. I definitely teared up during their emotional vows, and after the “I do’s,” the celebration kicked off with hilarious entrances and the incorporation of their beloved dog, Brewer, into every aspect of the day.
We also took advantage of the stunning sunset for some beautiful photos. As a NH documentary wedding photographer, capturing the joy and candid moments of their celebration was truly a privilege. Janine and Gentry’s Wolfeboro wedding was a perfect blend of love and fun, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it!
