There is more to it than the place you say your vows. The coffee before an early start. Your friends finding their footing on the trail. The way you look at each other once it sinks in that you are married. Those moments belong in your photographs, too.
I photograph the day as it unfolds, paying attention to the people, the landscape, and everything happening between the things you planned. We make room for portraits and I offer direction when it helps, then leave space for you to be together.
You might spend the day hiking to a mountain hut, wandering the coast, or sharing dinner with a handful of your favorite people. We can build the photography around that experience.

A little local knowledge goes a long way.
I’m Eleni. I grew up in New Hampshire, have hiked all 48 of its 4,000-footers, and thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail. The mountains are familiar territory to me, and I bring that experience to planning and photographing your elopement.
I also know that a meaningful adventure can be a short walk to the water. I take time to understand what you want from the day, then help you find a place and a pace that feel right.
Over the years, I’ve built a private location map, saving places I discover and can picture an elopement unfolding. Once you book, you’ll have access to those pins as we explore the possibilities for your day.

Together, we work through the timing, travel between locations, and the practical details of an outdoor day. Your photography timeline makes room for the walk, the vows, a meal, and time to stop and take it all in. We talk through weather alternatives before the day arrives.

Once the day begins, I am there for the journey as well as the ceremony. I photograph the anticipation, the familiar gestures, the changing light, and the celebration afterward, with gentle guidance for portraits along the way.

From a quiet ceremony and time to explore to a longer day on the trail, we will choose coverage that gives your plans enough space. Longer and multi-day experiences can be built around the adventure you have in mind.
Every elopement is photographed personally by me, with location suggestions, timeline planning, my elopement planning guide, and help thinking through the details. You receive an individually edited, high-resolution online gallery with personal printing rights.

What is an adventure elopement?
An adventure elopement is a small wedding centered on an experience you want to share. That might mean a sunrise hike, a day along the coast, or a ceremony followed by dinner at a cabin. The place and activities are part of the celebration, and the day can include just the two of you or a small group of people you love.
Do we have to hike to elope?
No. Adventure can be as simple as exploring somewhere new together. There are beautiful options with short walks or easy access, as well as longer trails and overnight trips. We will talk about the terrain, distance, and experience you want before choosing a location.
Can we include family and friends?
Absolutely. We can plan around a small group, a ceremony with family followed by time for the two of you, or a day spent entirely together. Who is joining you helps shape the location, access, and timeline, so tell me about the people you hope to include.
Can you help us choose a place to elope?
Yes. Location suggestions and planning help are part of the experience. We will talk through the landscape, season, activities, and level of access you want. I will help you narrow down places that suit those plans and think through the practical details before the day.
What happens if the weather changes?
We talk through alternatives during planning and stay in touch as the day approaches. Depending on the conditions, that could mean adjusting the timing, choosing a different location, or changing part of the plan. The goal is to make thoughtful decisions together and leave enough flexibility for an outdoor day.
How much photography coverage do we need?
Elopement collections begin with four hours. The right coverage depends on the experience you are planning: getting ready, travel or hiking time, your ceremony, portraits, and any celebration afterward. Longer trails and overnight plans may need a longer collection. We will build the timeline before deciding what fits.
Do you photograph elopements on film?
Yes, I photograph both film and digital, and film can be added to your elopement collection. Let me know if you are drawn to film when you inquire so we can talk through how it fits into your day.
When will we receive our elopement photographs?
You will receive a sneak peek within 48 hours and your full elopement gallery within four weeks. Your photographs are individually edited and delivered in an online gallery for downloading and sharing, with personal printing rights included. Film photographs are added once the film has been developed and scanned.
How do we book our elopement photographer?
Send an inquiry with your date or season, the place you have in mind, and a little about the experience you want to have. We will arrange a conversation and talk through coverage. A signed agreement and retainer reserve your date; we then work through the planning together.
