NEW HAMPSHIRE ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Adventure elopements across New Hampshire — summit ceremonies, quiet coastlines, and everything in between.
I'm Eleni.

I'm Eleni — an adventure elopement photographer, born and raised in New Hampshire. This is my home state, and I know it from the inside out: I've finished the NH 48 4,000-footers, hiked the Appalachian Trail, and spent years chasing light across every corner of it. So when you say you want to get married on a summit at sunrise, on a ledge above a notch, or with your toes in the cold Atlantic — I don't just say yes. I know exactly where to take you.
An elopement isn't a smaller wedding. It's a different kind of day: just the two of you (or you and a handful of your favorite people), the landscape, and the freedom to do it entirely your way. No head table, no receiving line, no schedule you resent. I help you plan the whole thing — the where, the when, the light, the logistics — and then I document it like a fly on the wall, so you can actually be in your day instead of performing it. Fully immersed.
New Hampshire packs an astonishing range into a short drive: the dramatic peaks of the White Mountains, the historic Seacoast and Atlantic coastline, the big water of the Lakes Region, and the quiet highlands around Mount Monadnock. Whatever you're picturing, there's a corner of this state for it — and I'll hike, drive, or paddle to it with you. I used to work for the agency that managed the state's tourism board, so trust me when I say I know every corner of this beautiful state.
WHY ELOPE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE?
One small state, every kind of landscape.
It's genuinely easy to marry here.
You can stand on a granite summit at dawn and have your feet in the ocean by dinner. That's the case for eloping in New Hampshire in a sentence. Within a couple of hours' drive you get alpine peaks, deep river notches, quiet lakes, rolling highlands, and a real Atlantic coastline — plus some of the most permissive, low-stress logistics in New England for a small ceremony.
New Hampshire has no waiting period once you have your marriage license, and no residency requirement — you can apply and marry the same day. (Always confirm current town-clerk hours and requirements when you plan; rules can change.)
Every season is beautiful, and they're all different.
A destination feel without the destination hassle.
Summer brings long light and warm summits. Fall is legendary — the White Mountains turn every shade of red and gold, and it's the most-requested season for a reason. Winter is quiet, dramatic, and wildly romantic if you're up for the cold. Spring is green, mossy, and gloriously uncrowded.
Most of the state is within one to two hours of the Manchester and Boston airports, so it's easy for the handful of people you do want there to actually get there.
DON'T TAKE IT FROM ME...

"We hired Eleni as the photographer for our backcountry wedding in the White Mountains, and she was amazing!! She even suggested a picturesque spot to hold our ceremony and helped us plan the run of show for our big day. She had no qualms about carrying her camera etc up a fairly steep 2.5 mi trail and was even willing to be flexible about the exact day of the shoot given the notoriously bad weather in the Whites. She was an integral part of our small wedding. Our friends and family say these are some of the best wedding photos they've seen. I'd absolutely recommend Eleni to anyone looking for an elopement or backcountry wedding photographer."

"Eleni is INCREDIBLE. She was enthusiastic about all of our adventurous requests, capturing a surfing engagement photo session and elopement-style vows in the White Mountains. She’ll work with you on weather, scheduling, hiking and logistics plans, the perfect sunset times and cloud conditions. She also photographed our more traditional wedding - capturing family and wedding party photos from the ceremony through the reception. We could literally not be happier with how all of the photos turned out, but beyond that she created the MOST comfortable and fun experience. My hair and makeup vendors even commented how her calm presence made the start of the wedding afternoon so much more enjoyable. We couldn’t imagine any of our wedding events without her and we’re so grateful to her for her beautiful work and amazing vibes."

WHERE TO ELOPE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
A region-by-region guide to the places I love — from the couple who wants a summit to the couple who wants the sea.
WHITE MOUNTAINS
SEACOAST
THE ADVENTURE HEART OF THE STATE
COASTAL CEREMONIES & HISTORIC PORTSMOUTH

The White Mountains — This is where I do my most adventurous work: summit and ledge ceremonies, sunrise hikes, and notch overlooks where the landscape is half the story. Think Mount Washington and the Presidentials, Lake of the Clouds, Crawford Notch, Franconia Notch, and the trails around North Conway and Jackson. Some spots are a short walk from the car; others are a real hike — I'll match the location to your fitness and your vision.
The Seacoast — Only about 13 miles of coastline — the shortest of any ocean state — but it punches well above its size: rocky ledges at Odiorne Point, the beaches of Rye and Hampton, the gardens and grounds around New Castle, and the walkable, camera-friendly streets of downtown Portsmouth. Perfect for a couple who wants the ocean and an easy, no-hiking day — and it's my Seacoast home base, so there's no travel fee here.
LAKES REGION
MONADNOCK REGION
WATER, MOUNTAINS, GOLDEN LIGHT
QUIET HIGHLANDS, AND OPEN SKY

The Lakes Region — Lake Winnipesaukee and the smaller lakes give you big water backed by low mountains — dock and shoreline ceremonies, boat exits, and some of the best evening light in the state. Great for a relaxed, scenic elopement that still feels like an adventure without a summit push.
The Monadnock Region — Rolling hills, stone walls, and wide views in the southwest corner of the state, anchored by Mount Monadnock. It's peaceful, uncrowded, and beautiful in fall — a good fit for couples who want mountain scenery closer to southern NH and the Boston area.
