Documentary wedding photography throughout New Hampshire, for the people and the day you have brought together. From a celebration in the Lakes Region to a gathering on the Seacoast or a weekend in the mountains, I photograph what happens while you are living it.
THE PHOTOGRAPHY
Your wedding holds more than a ceremony and a set of portraits. There are conversations before everyone takes their seats, familiar faces finding each other, and small exchanges happening at the edge of the room. I pay attention to the whole gathering, as well as the two of you at its center.
My documentary approach gives those moments room to happen. I work with care for light, composition, and the relationships in front of me, responding to the day as it unfolds. The photographs should bring you back to the atmosphere and the experience of being there.
We also make space for family photographs and relaxed couple portraits, with clear direction when it helps. Then you get back to your people. From getting ready through the reception, the photography follows the wedding you chose to have.
MEET YOUR NEW HAMPSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I’m Eleni, a documentary wedding photographer originally from New Hampshire, working throughout the state and New England in digital and 35mm film. The mountains, lakes, and places people return to are part of what draws me to this work.
I’ve photographed weddings at Aldworth Manor, Wentworth by the Sea, Thompson House Inn, and LaBelle Winery, along with countless celebrations at private homes. Each gathering has its own people, traditions, and pace. I take time to understand those things before the day arrives, so the photography feels personal from the beginning.
Outside of weddings, I share my life with my husband, Lukas, and our dog, Oskar. I’ve hiked the Appalachian Trail, and I’m often outdoors or making something with my hands. I bring that same curiosity and attention to the places and people I photograph.
GETTING MARRIED IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
A wedding in New Hampshire might bring everyone back to a familiar place or give you somewhere new to gather. A lakeside inn, a family property, a city celebration, or a weekend surrounded by mountains can each make room for the people and experience you want.
The Lakes Region & White Mountains. From a wedding weekend in Wolfeboro to a gathering in the mountains, we consider the setting alongside the practical details: travel between locations, the light, and time to enjoy being together. You do not need to turn the wedding into a hiking trip to make the landscape part of the photographs.
The Seacoast. For a celebration in Portsmouth, Dover, or near the coast, we plan around the places your day will take you. A ceremony, a shared meal, and a little time outdoors can fit together without keeping you away from your guests for long.
Southern New Hampshire & the Monadnock Region. A manor, a farm, or a place close to home can hold a wedding with its own character. The setting matters, and so do the family traditions, conversations, and celebrations happening within it.
I’m available for weddings throughout the state, including Dartmouth–Lake Sunapee and the Great North Woods. If you are considering a private-home celebration, explore my guide to New Hampshire Airbnbs where you can host an intimate wedding.
BEFORE THE DAY
We begin with what you want the day to feel like, who will be there, and the parts you most want to remember. I help you choose coverage that makes sense for the gathering, whether that is an intimate wedding or a full day with a larger guest list.
Together, we shape the photography timeline around your ceremony, travel, family photographs, and time for the two of you. For outdoor plans, we talk about the season, the light, and an alternative if the weather changes. The aim is a day with enough room to be present.
My wedding collections begin at $5,000 for six hours. Eight- and ten-hour collections include a second photographer, and the ten-hour collection includes two rolls of film. Film photography can also be added to any package. Your proposal confirms the coverage and any travel details.
“The pictures are so incredible and we can’t thank you enough for adding so much comfort and happiness to all of our wedding events”
Allie & Brian
“Thank you so much for capturing all our loved ones so authentically!”
Porter & Josh
“You both captured so many beautiful little moments that we never would have seen in addition to ones that we will never forget.”

A FEW QUESTIONS
Yes. I’m available for weddings across New Hampshire, including the Seacoast, the Lakes Region, the White Mountains, southern New Hampshire, the Monadnock Region, Dartmouth–Lake Sunapee, and the Great North Woods. Share your date and location ideas, and we can talk through availability and coverage.
Yes. My documentary approach works with both. A larger wedding may need more coverage or a second photographer to follow different parts of the day; an intimate gathering may have a quieter pace. We choose the collection around your plans, rather than assuming the guest count tells the whole story.
Absolutely. Documentary wedding photography includes time for the family photographs that matter to you and relaxed portraits together. I offer simple direction when it helps, then return to documenting what happens. Your gallery brings those photographs and the candid moments together.
We discuss your locations, the season, the light, and an alternative for outdoor plans before the wedding. I also help allow time for travel and family photographs. You do not need to have a finished timeline when you inquire; we shape the photography plan as the details come together.
Yes. I photograph on both digital and 35mm film. The ten-hour wedding collection includes two rolls of film, and film can be added to any package. Explore film wedding photography here.
This page is for weddings with a gathering of guests, from intimate celebrations to larger wedding days and weekends. If you are planning a more private or adventure-focused experience, explore my New Hampshire elopement photography. We can talk about which approach fits your plans.
Start with an inquiry that includes your date, location or venue, and a little about the day you are planning. We will talk about availability and coverage. A signed agreement and retainer reserve your date, with the details confirmed in your proposal.
YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR PLACE. YOUR DAY.
Tell me about the two of you, the place you are bringing everyone together, and what you are looking forward to. I would love to hear about your New Hampshire wedding.
