Jacqueline and Johnny’s wedding at the Barn at Powder Major's Farm was such an incredible day, perfectly showcasing what documentary wedding photography is all about. The guys got ready at a hotel nearby, while the girls prepped at a charming house on the property. The first look was super emotional and so sweet, and watching the groomsmen's reactions added even more fun to the moment. By the time the ceremony started, all the nerves had faded, leaving just excitement in the air! The gorgeous weather and moody clouds set the perfect vibe.
Finally as the sun began to set, we got some amazing golden hour portraits that really captured the magic of the moment. One of the coolest parts of the night was when both of their dads played in a band together for the reception—it was such a special touch! Everyone hit the dance floor, and the energy was off the charts. To top it all off, they had a sparkler exit that was just perfect. This day was a beautiful reminder of how documentary wedding photography captures all the special moments, big and small, that make each wedding unique. I loved working at Powder Major's Farm for this wedding, and highly recommend!
