The holiday season is a magical time of year, and there's no better place to experience it than on the charming island of Nantucket off of Cape Cod. Recently, my partner and I had the honor of capturing a very special proposal on the Sconset Bluff Walk. Paul and Molly love coming to Nantucket and doing that walk, so he thought it would be the perfect place to pop the question and get engaged!
My partner and I got on an early ferry and scoped out the bluff walk an hour before the shoot. We had Paul's location to make sure he wasn't close by. We found the perfect open spot, and sent him a pin (and drew an X in the dirt, ha!)
The wind was whipping and it was fairly cold that day, but as they rounded the corner and Paul got on one knee, no one could remember that it was cold. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the ocean as we all celebrated the engagement. We popped champagne at the Sconset store, and took some more photos along the bridge area in the Sconset town center. Congrats to Paul and Molly on your gorgeous Nantucket engagement!
Updated: We also photographed their Chatham intimate wedding! It was the most stunning location, right on the cliffside overlooking Nantucket Sound.
