WINTER WHITE MOUNTAINS ENGAGEMENT | NEW HAMPSHIRE DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHER

One of my favorite things about being a documentary wedding photographer is getting to hang out with couples who love the outdoors as much as I do. I recently met up with Kerri and Peter in the White Mountains for their engagement session, and honestly, it was the best time.

These two are super sweet and big into hiking and skiing, so we instantly bonded over our shared love of mountains and snowy adventures. They’re tying the knot this fall at Sunday River, and I already can’t wait to capture all the fun and candid moments of their wedding day.

For their engagement session, we started off at the AMC Highland Center, which made for some cozy, rustic vibes. Then we headed over to the Willey House just in time for an epic sunset. The sky turned this incredible orange, lighting up the mountains all around us. And the best part? We had the whole place to ourselves. Kerri and Peter were laughing, running around, and even frolicking in the snow—which made for the most genuine, joyful photos.

Sessions like this remind me why I love being a documentary wedding photographer so much: it’s all about capturing real moments, genuine laughter, and the places that mean something special to my couples - in their natural habitat haha!

If you’re planning a wedding in the mountains (or anywhere else adventurous!), I’d love to help tell your story.
