Nahir reached out to me while I was hiking the Appalachian Trail for an engagement session. Once I returned, we got together and made it work! She was visiting Jon in New Hampshire during Christmas, and traveled from the Caribbean. They wanted to get some wintery engagement photos, and I had been wanting to shoot at Stonehouse Pond for a while! I figured this was the perfect place for an adventure session.
We met up on a beautiful snowy day to go for a little hike for their adventure session. I outfitted them with micro spikes, and off we went! We stopped at a frozen waterfall, and continued up to the most beautiful cliff overlook. The lighting ended up being so amazing, and I may have jumped for joy and squealed while taking photos. Every time I looked at my camera, it was just too good! Once it was close to sunset, we made our way back down for an outfit change in front of the cliff. Finally now that they were in scrubs and kicked the snowballs off of their microspikes, the sun put on a show and we wrapped up in the dark. This NH adventure session was pure magic!
