For the purposes of this post though, I wanted to summarize what I tell my couples as a quick reference guide. So, what do you wear to your engagement shoot? Let's dive in.

While looking incredible is important, feeling comfortable is equally vital. An engagement shoot involves moving around, laughing, and having a blast with your partner. So, choose outfits that allow you to be at ease and enjoy the moment without any wardrobe malfunctions. You don't want to be fussing over uncomfortable shoes or an ill-fitting dress when you should be lost in each other's eyes!

Coordinate, But Don't Match

You don't wear heels at the beach or on a mountain, you go barefoot and wear hiking boots.

Props

We don't love being tacky, we love being classy. When you think props, you think the wooden Pinterest sign with your new last name or the date your partner proposed, but there's a way to bring props into the shoot that aren't Pinteresty! Do you guys make pizza every Friday night? Let's do that. Do you guys have cocktail night? Let's break out the cocktails and shaker. Are you and your partner avid motorcycle riders?
